Life as a 1-year old

It has been a beautiful October here at the beach house. For a 1st birthday present, Grampa Bob sent a little slide house to Bodhi which sits in our front yard. He loves it!
We take walks to the library where they have all sorts of stuffed animals, dress up and, well, books. Here Bodhi found some glasses that look just like Grampa Bob's! About the same size too!

Hard to believe it's been a full year since we've been taking monthly pics with brown pelican. Here he is, one year later!

Bodhi has teeth # 7 & 8 coming in, and it looks like we may be hitting double-digit teeth very soon!

Out in the country, where the pumpkins grow

Yesterday we joined Lucinda's parents and the Giffens out at Bate's Nut Farm (also affectionately known as Nate's But Farm). After the mad traffic and endless queue, I thought we must be nuts to go through all this trouble, especially when we have an Albertsons around the corner with pumpkins. As we rounded the corner, we entered an oasis of pumpkins. Here are some special pictures of Bodhi's first pumpkin patch.

Bodhi's 1st Birthday

These are the internet-safe photos... the ones with Bode's cajones on the table are not for pubic...I mean public viewing.

Well I can't even begin to express what our little funny boy means to Ryan and me, but I can tell you it's hard to remember what it was like without him. He is such a gift to us, and every day is a blessing. Every sleepless night too! Here are some pics from his 1st birthday and party...

Helga and Sepp came out from Austria!

Belly rubbin with Cousin Jenae.
Slide with Ba Ngoai Lieu... can't tell who's more excited!

Bode used the birthday excuse to pick up on ladies at the park.
