Cotton Anniversary

We've been married for over 2 years now!! Hard to believe, but its true. August 2006 we were all gathered at the Catamaran for the big wedding event. A few weeks ago CJ and I went back to the Catamaran to reminsce about that special day. Then we went to the beach and ordered pizza...a truly romantic anniversary!

Only about 6 weeks to go until Jr arrives. Our apartment is getting cluttered with baby gear. We have lots of friends and family in town for Labor Day weekend, so once that is done we'll be on the home stretch and will start to get serious about getting things in order. I finally have to figure out how to install the car seat, and need to put together the crib, practice breathing techniques with CJ, and lots, lots more!!

Let the collection begin

The Tahoe trip went swimmingly. I actually jumped into chilly Lake Tahoe and while CJ did not venture into the lake, she enjoyed some time on a raft in a heated pool. And they let her on the plane back to San Diego, which was certainly appreciated!

So now we're back in San Diego and on the home stretch towards Jr's birthday. We've started getting Jr's room ready and officially began "nesting". We have a crib and a changing table, a baby sling, baby linens, a few outfits, and a bunch of other "stuff" that I'm not yet familiar with. We're getting more "stuff" for the baby every day. While we're gathering all this "stuff", we're still considering moving prior to Jr's arrival. Doesn't that sound like fun!!

I'm sure Jr appreciates all of our planning and efforts.
